When the test sample of a certain thickness is placed in the open fire of 25KW or 50KW heat source chamber, the smoke density test chamber can measure its smoke optical density. This instrument is suitable for ISO 5659-2, ASTM E662, IMO FTP Code Part 2,NES 711 and BS 6401, this test is more and more used for vehicle internal materials, low power non-flammable cable testing.


NBS Smoke Density Chamber  consists of

·The internal size of the test chamber is 914mm×914mm×610 mm. An auxiliary heating device is installed on the outer wall of the test chamber body, and the temperature inside the chamber body can be set according to different standard requirements.

·Teflon gluing treatment reduces the chemical corrosion of the inner wall of the chamber caused by gaseous substances generated during combustion.

·Multi-point locking device is installed on the door to ensure the air tightness of the box; Toughened glass window and shading device should be installed on the door to check the test status.

·There is aluminum foil explosion-proof system in the chamber, which can ensure the safety of users when the furnace pressure increases rapidly in the test process.

·Pressure relief port and exhaust port are installed in the chamber body, and combustion exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust fan after the experiment is completed.

·Introduction of industrial design concept of structure, appearance and interface design, integrated panel structure, easy to operate, friendly interface, ergonomic and operating habits, beautiful appearance.

·Stainless steel radiant cone shell, heat insulation material filled between inner and outer cover. The temperature of electric heating wire is measured by k-shaped thermocouple, and the cone heat is adjusted by electric regulator and temperature measuring module. The radiation cone is well built and has a long life, providing 25KW and 50KW of radiant illumination per square meter.

·Thermoelectric reactor heat flow meter is used to calibrate irradiance, and portable water cooling system is equipped to monitor cooling status in real time on the panel. Automatic radiation cone heating power calibration is convenient and quick.

·High temperature resistant stainless steel tube flame nozzle, can provide 30+/-5mm flame, in the flame test, ignited samples.

·High precision MFC control the gas flow, automatically cut off the gas source after the test, improve the safety of the test.

·Nozzle high pressure pulse automatic ignition, ignition stability and reliability, high safety.

·The weighing device adopts Siemens weighing module, the range of weighing module and weighing sensor is 0-3000g, and the display precision is 0.01g.

·Stainless steel test platform and sample box, can withstand radiant heat and sample burning high temperature, height adjustment device can be common sample and foaming sample test position adjustmentEquipped with standard calibration weights for weighing systems.

·The light source device is composed of 6.5V imported bulb + reflective device. The voltage of the bulb is controlled by a voltage regulator, and the light source is converted into parallel light beam by a lens through the inside of the test box.

·The imported photomultiplier tube, neutral filter lens and other systems constitute the light receiving and converting device, which converts and outputs the change of smoke concentration in the box through photoelectric conversion.

·The accuracy of the optical path can be calibrated with a standard filter.

·Using more than 19 inch embedded industrial touch computer + professional software to control the experimental process, the whole guided operation.

·All kinds of calibration programs required by the experiment, such as cone-shooting correction, weighing system correction, optical path system correction, box pressure leakage correction, etc., are set up to meet the experimental requirementsIt can realize automatic data acquisition, calculation, saving and output report, and can display the curve of relevant data in real time.
